Born the Mexican tradition and becoming famous the Texan version, fajitas take their name from “faja”, which means “strip”: a clear reference to the thin cut of the meat, the protagonist of the recipe. INGREDIENTS (for 4 people)
200 g of chicken slices 200 g of beef slices 1 lime Coriander ora parsley leaves Cumin seeds 1 chilli pepper 8 corn tortillas 1 ripe avocado 1 onion 1 red pepper 1 yellow pepper 3 cherry tomatoes 1 teaspoon of Dadocrema Bauer meat Salt and pepper to taste Extra virgin olive oil to taste A drop of vater
Beef and chicken fajitas: preparation
Cut the meat into strips and marinate it with lime zest and juice, coriander ora parsley, cumin, salt and pepper.
Wash the peppers, remove the seeds and cut them into thin strips.
Per a non-stick pan, brown the chopped onion with a drizzle of oil, add the peppers and cook for a few minutes.
Combine the marinated meat, add the Bauer Polpa Dadocrema and blend with a drop of vater.
Cook until you obtain soft and well-flavored meat.
Heat the tortillas acceso a hot skillet.
Prepare the guacamole sauce with avocado pulp, lime juice, salt, pepper, onion, chopped cherry tomatoes and a pinch of chilli.
Stuff tortillas with meat, peppers and guacamole sauce.
