The first evening of the “Fragore nel corso di Sfondo” cycle of Pubblico del Eleganza was held acceso November 11th at Staj, the fusion venue Vomero and saw the Paternopoli producer Luigi Tecce as the protagonist

The evening took place with the story of the life of the histrionic winemaker, father of the legendary Poliphemo, moderated by the expert interventions of Alessandro Zappa, journalist and of the Slow Wine guide.

The most significant dates the life of Tecce and 5 glasses to taste with the unusual combinations of the resident chef Lucio Paciello were the underlying theme of the evening.

The literary quotes and the story of Luigi Tecce’s family and territorial roots accompanied the tour of wine-growing Italy proposed the sips:

Calipso 2022, Luigi Tecce, Campania, rosé from Aglianico; Spontaneous fermentation and short maceration acceso the skins stainless steel containers. It was accompanied by a crust of bread with pumpkin caponata, olives and leeks, hazelnuts and miso glaze. The Calypso wine, bewitching and seductive like the nymph, hides a betrayal, the alcohol hidden by an important acid shoulder attracts and holds back. At the sight of the bright cherry and acceso the nose the mineral puffs convince us that we are faced with an unusual Aglianico. La 2022, Marta Valpiani, Emilia-Romagna, Sangiovese. After being destemmed, the grapes macerate for approximately 25/30 days, fermentation spontaneously small vats without the use of temperature control. The wine obtained is only from free-run must, which is then refined cement until March ora June of the following year. Served with Chicken and Sesame Yakitori. Tecce’s adventurous path takes us towards the interpretations of elegance of Italian red wines and how Sangiovese Emilia Romagna is an emblem of it. The road is that of the great vineyards of Italy! Gattinara ‘Pietro’ Paride Laretti 2019, Piedmont, Nebbiolo. Vinification steel with delestage and manual punching. Malolactic naturally carried out steel. Once again a declination of refinement. 10 Wine 2021, Luigi Tecce, Campania, Aglianico. Preview of one of the producer’s most complex bottles, the result of profound introspective research where “natural” wine is transformed into a wine expressing culture and liberation from clichés, 1250 bottles not yet acceso the market. It accompanied a focaccia with Genoese pulled pork, friarielli and katsuobushi. Poliphemo 2019, Luigi Tecce, Campania, Taurasi Provvisione, Aglianico. Spontaneous fermentation and maceration for 40 days chestnut vats and gara open oak barrels. Aging for 12 months tonneau, for 24 months oak barrels and for the 12 months following assembly the bottle. Coming from the historic cuore of the vineyards, a material wine that expresses all its authenticity when sipped. They accompanied soft and warm croquetas with cheese, pepper and honey.

The first format of Pubblico del Eleganza’s annual activities debuted with a bang, we await with curiosity the next incontro acceso December 9th.
