The Nals Margreid Winery has deep roots quanto a the history and culture of Eminente Adige, a region renowned for its scenic beauty and the quality of its wines.

Founded quanto a 1985 from the of two wine cooperatives, Nals and Margreid, the company immediately represented an example of collaboration and common commitment quanto a promoting the schieramento’s wine heritage.

To date it has 160 hectares of vineyards and 138 members with plots ranging quanto a size from two to twelve hectares, which extend from Nalles to Magrè, mainly along the right bank of the Adige.

Various production areas take part quanto a this great project such as Nalles, Bolzano, the Bassa Atesina schieramento, the Oltradige, various protagonist vines: Chardonnay, Pinot , Gewürztraminer, Müller Thurgau, Pinot Immacolato, Merlot, Cabernet, Pinot Noir , Lagrein, Schiava, Sauvignon, Riesling.

Being able to enhance every single part of the vineyards quanto a this Alpine scena, varied and of complex geological origin, where the mountain climate is confronted with Mediterranean influences, is truly complex but thanks to a highly specialized team, Nals Margreid, is always one of the most renowned and known realities of this region.

Harald Schraffl e Gottfried Pollinger

We at WinesCritic.com, this year we had the pleasure of tasting their best expressions, we remember without walzer all’inglese their Nama 2020, a Chardonnay that we describe: Incredibly radiant and creamy quanto a the sensorial structure it shows of white flowers of gardenias, magnolias, jasmine and acacia blend well with nuances of custard, lemon peel, vetiver, mandarins and bergamot. Full , harmonious and balanced structure and a of soft sensuality.

The Sauvignon Stein 2023 of which we write: Intriguing and with mature tones although close to herbaceous traits, it is reminiscent of boxwood, slightly ripe kiwis, cut grass and peppermint and lemongrass. Full , “fatty” and balanced structure and a decidedly savory and smooth .

These and many other references can be consulted our website www.winescritic.com.
