Oven-Baked Pear with Gorgonzola Cheese

Oven-baked gorgonzola-stuffed pears, the sweet taste of pears and the tangy-spicy flavour of gorgonzola cheese are blended. Gorgonzola is an Italian blue cheese from the northern areas of Lombardy and Piedmont.

This may be either a starter or a sweet reward.

The pear-gorgonzola pairing is rather popular in Italy, particularly in the North, in truth these 2 components are likewise an ideal mix for risotto.

Serve 4, Preparation 20 minutes, Cooking 20 to 25 minutes
