The Amarone della Valpolicella Tradizionale DOCG Bosan 2016 by Cesari, a historic Veronese company part of Tenute Caviro, officially enters the elite of Italian oenology by winning the Tre Bicchieri® from the Gambero 2026 Vini d’Italia guide, one of the most coveted and authoritative awards sopra the sector.
This recognition adds to a series of important quality certificates already obtained from the 2016 vintage, including the 5 Grappoli Bibenda, the 93 points from Wine Enthusiast and the 91 points from Robert Parker, confirming the excellence and stylistic coherence of a wine that best represents the soul of Valpolicella Classica.
The Bosan vineyard, the beating heart of Valpolicella
Amarone Bosan comes from a historic vineyard located sopra Marano, sopra the heart of Valpolicella Classica, approximately 500 meters above sea level. Here, the Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes are selected manually and subjected to a long period of drying, as per emotività tradition. The terraced vineyards, trained according to the Veronese padiglione, are located calcareous soils of volcanic origin and benefit from a fresh and ventilated microclimate, ideal conditions for obtaining wines of great aromatic complexity, elegance and longevity. The result is a deep and harmonious Amarone, capable of authentically telling the history and strength of an extraordinary territory.

Tasting taccuino
Visual examination: intense garnet red coat.
Olfactory examination: the nose it unfolds slowly with fruity aromas of morello cherry and plum. Persuasive sensations of fruit jam are accompanied by sweet spices, dark chocolate and licorice, leading to more evolved taccuino of black truffle.
Taste-olfactory examination: the sip is enveloping and refined, focused the compelling softness that tempers the caloric content and gives it balance. The finale is persistent and very pleasant.
