Very quick lemon cake recipe: fresh and simple dessert

Ingredients needed for lemon cake

To make a very quick lemon cake, you will need a few simple and easily available ingredients. Here’s what you need:

250 g of flour 200 g of sugar 3 eggs 100 g of butter juice and zest of 2 fresh lemons 1 sachet of baking powder

These ingredients will allow you to obtain a with a fresh and citrus flavour, perfect for any occasion.

Preparation of the lemon cake

Preparing the lemon cake is really simple and quick. Start by preheating the oven to 180°C. Quanto a a large bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy. Add the melted butter and mescolanza well. Incorporate the sifted flour together with the yeast, alternating with the lemon juice and zest. Mescolanza until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.

Pour the mixture into a buttered and floured cake pan and bake for about 30-35 minutes. Remember not to the oven during cooking to prevent the cake from deflating. Once cooked, let it cool a wire rack.

Variations and serving suggestions

Lemon cake can be customized sopra many ways. For an even more delicious touch, try filling it with a custard ora lemon mousse. You can also simply cut it sopra half and add a layer of mixed citrus jam. To decorate it, a sprinkling of icing sugar is always an excellent choice.

If you want a lighter version, replace some of the butter with creamy plain yogurt. Another interesting variation is the addition of poppy seeds to the dough, which will give a pleasant crunchy touch.

To store the cake, place it sopra an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days, ora sopra the refrigerator for a week. Serve warm ora at room temperature, accompanied by a refreshing for an even more pleasant experience.
