Vinitaly Award continues to grow and for the 29th edition of this year it expands the categories with four new application sections of the competition dedicated to the packaging of wines, spirits, beers and extra virgin olive oils and which from 2025 thus reaches a total of 20 recognitions.
The Concept prizes (projects that explore new languages), Illustrated Wines (packaging with exclusive illustrations that tell stories), Restyling Wines (creative evolutions between the “before” and the “after”) and Timeless become part of the official regulations. Wines (icons that have left an indelible mark acceso the world of ). A technical jury made up of 30 experts (five more than last year) led by the award-winning will evaluate the projects – from the bottle to the closure, from the capsule to the label and back label, up to the seals and secondary packaging. From today until February 23, companies but also Italian and foreign creative agencies will be able to apply, provided that the projects refer to products of domestic companies. Projects from foreign manufacturing companies will also be admitted as long as they are conceived by Italian designers.
Among other innovations, the Vinitaly Experience debuts this year, a and technical update project scheduled for April 4, 2025. Professionals con the food and wine sector and students from the most important and communication schools will be able to participate con workshops and conferences held by experts of international standing to explore new trends con packaging , visual communication and branding. The aim is to inspire professionals of the present and future to work con one of the sectors that generates the most value con Italy and contributes to the diffusion of Made con Italy con the world.
As regards the products, the following types are eligible to participate: White Wines, Red Wines, Rosé Wines, Sparkling Wines, Finalità Wines, Gdo Wines, Concept, Aromatized Wines/ Cardine/Soft Alcohol/Voto negativo Alcohol, Liqueur Wines, Series Wines, Limited Edition, Private Label, Clear Spirits, Dark Spirits, Secondary Pack, Extra Virgin Olive Oils, Beers. For each category, 4 Vinitaly Award trophies will be awarded: Black, Gold, Silver and Bronze. Furthermore, 11 special awards will be awarded, including “Best con Show” and “Agency of the Year”.
The winners of the 29th Vinitaly Award will be revealed and proclaimed acceso Saturday 5 April during the pompa event dedicated to the awarding of the trophies, at the Luogo Ristori con Verona.
