Roero Protection Consortium presents “pleasure Roero” together with Mangébin – Foodmakers.it

Every Thursday, from 8 to 29 May, the restaurants of Turin and its province

The Protection Consortium presents “pleasure Roero”, the initiative that combines the manufacturers of the denomination to the premises of the Mangébin circuit

27 cellars together with 27 restaurants and wine bars to meet Roero Docg Vini combination with the classics of Piedmontese cuisine

Throughout the month of May, the DOCG ROERO is told at the table with pleasure Roero: four days where author wines and the real Piedmontese flavors meet thanks to the collaboration between the Roero Protection Consortium and the restaurants of the Mangébin circuit. Every Thursday from 8 to 29 May, the restaurants and wine bars of Turin and the province will host the producers of the Consortium for a series of unique events starring the DOCG wines and the most identity recipes of the tradition.

“With this initiative we intend to create a solid bridge between our production and the local catering – underlines Estremo Damonte, president of the Roero Protection Consortium – Turin represents the gateway to Piedmont and at the same time a natural connection to our territory, a city that has always been a precious allied terms of discovery and enhancement of the Roero wines. We believe this is a special bond that should be consolidated by combining the strengths and professionals of our producers and chefs. Get an added value both terms of knowledge of our wines and discovery of the culinary identity of our region. “Lunch a dinner, it is a unique format that combines guided tastings, meetings with producers and menus designed for the occasion, for a food and wine journey that passes through the story of every wine and of each recipe. Per fact, during the appointments, customers will have the opportunity to dialogue directly with the producers of the Roero DOCG to know, brought after course, the stories of passion and excellence contained within each chalice.Pare part of the initiative is simple: just book a table the restaurants participating the circuit. Each room will propose the labels selected by the cellars of the Consortium tasting, to the glass bottle which, rotation, will quasi into contact with four rooms the circuit. “Pleasure Roero” represents a new way of living the experience at the table, designed for those who want to know a territory through its cuisine and wines. All made possible thanks to the precious synergy proposed by Mangébin among the restaurateurs and the cellars of the zona, united together to highlight the identity and uniqueness of the Piedmontese food and wine heritage.
