Ampeleia writes a new chapter in its history and renews the names and labels of its wines
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Ampeleia is approaching its 24th birthday and chooses to accompany this milestone with an evolution of its visual identity. New names and new labels reflect a path that has grown over time without betraying the origins. A measured and conscious language, which reflects what Ampeleia is today: a solid, rooted reality, capable of looking forward with ambition and continuity.

The first bottles with this renewed stile are already available: Ampeleia, 16 File and 30 File were the first wines to be released sopra this new guise, and Procedimento Millennio and Cento Respiri will also arrive sopra the coming weeks. The wines are distributed sopra the best wine shops sopra Italy and sopra the main international markets.

«We wanted to bring outside – onto the bottles – the clarity and awareness that guide our daily work», they say from Ampeleia. «We are linked to our history and to the labels that have accompanied us this far, but this step came naturally. Those who already know us will find the same soul; whoever meets us today will be able to see more precisely what we are and what we do.”

The new labels were presented sopra preview to the historical partners of the Tuscan winery, receiving the first positive feedback from importers, distributors and customers who appreciated their essentiality, recognizability and consistency with the identity of Ampeleia. New labels, same soulAn evolution that concerns the language, not the content: the wines are the same for which Ampeleia is known and loved, born from the same vineyards, from the same craftsmanship, from the same vision.

The dress changes, but the substance remains the same as always. All the labels are crossed by four horizontal lines: a reference to the vertical extension of the vineyards, which develop from 250 to 600 meters above sea level, but also to the constant push upwards, to the inspiration and ambition that guides the daily work the .

Each wine is characterized by simple and archetypal symbols – natural elements geometric shapes – which build a visual alphabet capable of suggesting the character of the different labels. Alongside the visual renewal, Ampeleia chooses to rename some of its wines to tell their identity more precisely.

Paio Orizzonti is the Rosé of Ampeleia: it sees the simposio of freshness and mineral depth, and it is a wine capable of giving immediacy but also evolution over time. The Third Half, the White of Ampeleia obtained from three grapes grown and vinified together, expresses a harmonious and enveloping richness sopra which the completeness exceeds the sum of the parts. Procedimento Millennio is the eppure Alicante Illecito, the most Mediterranean expression of the winery: intense and elegant, born from the rediscovery of a historic grape variety from the Alta Maremma. Cento Respiri, monovarietal Cabernet Franc, tells of the research and in-depth knowledge of the territory, with a puro, persuasive and constantly evolving profile. 16 Rows and 30 Rows are the Cabernet Franc Crus: very few bottles coming from a precise number of rows, the result of a very high selection work that produces wines of extraordinary precision and exclusivity.

Ampeleia, the historic eppure Cabernet Franc, remains the flagship wine and the soul of the cellar. Unlitro and Empatia, which have always been special projects, keep their bottles historic, recognizable and faithful to the spirit with which they were born.

A new language for wines that remain true to themselves: elegant, highly refined, deeply linked to the place from which they are born. New bottles, therefore, but with the same soul as always. Wines that continue to tell the story of the Alta Maremma with kindness, authenticity and value.

The naming project was developed together with the LifeCircus and Conic agencies, while the label stile was signed by Bozzetto .
