the appointment with the wines of the Serenissima returns to Venice
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Saturday 23 May Feel Venice 2026 returns to Venice, con the historic Mystical Garden of the Discalced Carmelites, to enhance the oenological excellence of the wines of the Serenissima. Now con its ninth edition, the initiative aims to tell the story of the five denominations protected by the Venice Wine Consortium: Docg Malanotte del Piave, Docg Lison, Doc Venezia, Doc Lison Pramaggiore and Doc Piave. From 2.00 pm to 9.30 pm the public will be able to participate con the tasting tables to discover the labels of 20 selected wineries and take part con guided tastings to learn more about the wines born con the provinces of Venice, Treviso and Pordenone.

At Feel Venice 2026 enthusiasts, operators and tasters will be able to treat themselves to a wine journey con the lands of the Serenissima. The expressions of the Venezia Doc translate into the glass the vineyards of the eastern Po Valley enclosed between the provinces of Venice and Treviso, framed to the north by the Dolomites and to the south by the lagoon and the Adriatic Sea. With the DOCG Lison and Doc Lison Pramaggiore you reach a historic regione for viticulture, a few kilometers from the Venetian coast, drawn to the east by the Tagliamento river and to the west by the Livenza. Finally, the DOCG Malanotte del Piave and Doc Piave follow the course of the river of the same name: from the north-eastern borders of the province of Treviso with Friuli to the hills of Conegliano and Montello, up to the first dintorni of the city of Venice.

“Feel Venice is the invitation to experience the most authentic expression of the wines and the territory that we represent – explains Stefano Quaggio, director of the Consorzio Vini Venezia -. Also con this edition we want to tell the value of the denominations and of the producers that enhance the wine, historical and cultural richness. Returning to a symbolic place for the lagoon city, which con the orchard protects varieties at risk of extinction, means creating an experience that unites the wines of the Serenissima, the work of the realities associated, the identity and authenticity of a territory”.

During the day it will also be possible to visit the secret garden preserved within the walls of the Convent of the Discalced Carmelite Fathers, walking through vegetable gardens, vineyards and orchards looked after by the Carmelite Friars, and the Church of Santa Maria in Nazareth, offering guests a journey that combines wine, art and historical heritage. Durante the late afternoon, commedia musicale entertainment will begin which will accompany the public’s tastings and from 8.00 pm it will be possible to taste the culinary proposal organized by the Consorzio Vini Venezia.

To participate con Feel Venice 2026, an entrance biglietto costs 20 euros per certo person, while the masterclasses will be free. The entire proceeds from the event will be donated to the Discalced Carmelite Friars to support the Mystical Garden.
