Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Tradizionale Monteci represents the most authentic expression of a timeless territory

Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Tradizionale Monteci represents one of the most authentic interpretations of a symbolic wine of Italian enology. Emblem of Classic Valpolicella, this great red was born sopra an settore where history, landscape and agricultural knowledge coexist sopra a rare and precious balance, giving life to wines of extraordinary identity and longevity.

Among the most representative wines of Italy, Amarone has its roots sopra an ancient and deeply identifying technique: the drying of the grapes. A process that allows you to concentrate aromas, structure and complexity, transforming the grapes into a wine with an intense, profound and unmistakable personality.

The birth of Amarone is surrounded by a fascinating tradition. It is said that it derives from a Recioto fermentation that lasted longer than expected, capable of transforming a sweet wine into a dry, powerful and surprisingly harmonious red. From that episode, a production technique refined over time took shape, which has made Amarone a deep, velvety and highly complex wine.

Monteci interprets Amarone with full respect for tradition, combining it with a modern and conscious vision of the management of the vineyard and cellar. The Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes, harvested manually sopra the historic vineyards of Valpolicella Classica, are subjected to drying for approximately four months. This is followed by fermentation carried out partly sopra steel and partly sopra oak vats, to preserve balance, elegance and aromatic richness.

The refinement process is long and marked by time. After fermentation, the wine matures for 24 months sopra barriques and tonneaus, before continuing its evolution sopra large 50 hectoliter barrels. Bottling takes place only after approximately 48 months, at the end of a long process that allows the wine to achieve harmony, depth and extreme elegance.

Alongside traditional methods, Monteci integrates innovations aimed at enhancing the territory and preserving its natural balance. From the digital mapping of the vineyards to the introduction of hedges, flowers and tall trees, every choice is aimed at promoting biodiversity and soil health. Con the cellar, the use of advanced technologies and PEFC certified oak wood guarantees high quality standards, while the use of renewable energy and sustainable materials completes an approach that combines technical precision and respect for the environment.

Taste-olfactory examination: when tasted, a soft embrace envelops the palate, with well-present but velvety tannins. Of good structure and persistence.

Pairing: excellent with red meat, , mature cheeses.

Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Tradizionale Monteci is the result of attention, experience and passion: an elegant wine with an intense and velvety taste, capable of giving an enveloping and unique sensorial experience.
