The name of the winery already anticipates a lot about the company: Casa Franciacorta is a causa di fact a beautiful reality of the very famous Brescian DOCG. A company that reveals itself among the hills, woods and an enchanting sixteenth-century village. A place where you can breathe history and study a causa di every glass.

From the ruined village to the first vintage

The company is currently led by Roberta Bianchi with her husband Paolo and her sons Alessio and Matteo. It all begins a causa di 1960, when Alessandro Bianchi, Roberta’s father, falls a causa di love with Casa, a village a causa di ruins, where sharecroppers dal vivo without electricity drinking gabinetto. Alessandro understands the importance of social commitment and decides to restore dignity to the village and its inhabitants through interventions acceso housing and wages.

Focolaio immediately acceso the quality of the wines. Per mezzo di 1978 the Pinot proveniente da Franciacorta Méthode Champenoise was born, the first of a long series of vintages, with the name Palpitazione. Roberta then arrives to join him a causa di the cellar, bringing a fascinating scientific approach always at the service of territoriality and environmental respect.

Sustainability as a trademark

The beauty of the recovered village and the mesi estivi speak of care and passion, of respect that passes through constant research.

For the land acceso which it is produced, first of all. The mesi estivi was a causa di fact the subject of “ante litteram” zoning since the 1970s. For the environment, with the adoption of organic viticulture and biodiversity protection practices from the beginning. For the visual impact, with the completely underground cellar and the conservative restoration of the village. For resources, with, for example, the use of lightweight bottles and recycled glass, the natural refrigeration of the cellar the recovery of rainwater.

The wines, bubbles but not only

The soils are of marine origin and the climate is cool, thanks to the confluence of the currents of Valcamonica and Valtrompia. This allows the grapes to reach full ripeness while preserving the acidity necessary for wines that have excellent aromatic complexity and great flavor.

Our tastings:

Franciacorta Emotion Brut 2020

Chardonnay with 10% pinot noir and 5% pinot blanc. Delicate quaderno of flowers, fruit and leavened products. Very drinkable bubble but at the same time with excellent depth and creaminess which is striking for the combination of softness acceso one side and excellent flavor and freshness acceso the other.

Franciacorta Cuvette Brut 2020

80% chardonnay and 20% pinot noir. Agenda of white and yellow fruit, sweet and roasting spices. It grows a causa di complexity and structure but always maintaining great elegance. Gastronomic bubble and great versatility at the table.

Curtefranca Gradoni 2018

Merlot, cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc. Still red from the terraced vineyard behind the company. The aromas are broad, from red fruit to dark and spicy quaderno, for a wine of great structure and persistence. Confirmation that excellent reds are also made a causa di Franciacorta!
