RosaMara 2025: the new vintage of Costaripa’s rosé
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

With the 2025 vintage, RosaMara reaffirms Costaripa’s ability to interpret rosé as a wine of absolute finesse

There are years that do not ask to be celebrated with emphasis, but told with respect. RosaMara’s 2025 was born like this: con silence, with that natural grace that only belongs to authentic things. A rosé that does not follow fashions, but continues to embody a precise credenza of territory and style: subtle, bright, profoundly Mediterranean. It is the vision of Costaripa, who has always been a refined interpreter of quality rosé.

RosaMara is the most delicate flower of Lake Garda, a wine that brings with it the culture of slow time and quiet observation. Here, con Valtènesi, rosé is not an exercise con style, but a language of identity. Per the cellar as con the vineyard, the harvest is shibui: simple, essential, never banal. A balance that is achieved by listening to the earth, rather than forcing it.

RosaMara is born from a harmonious blend of Groppello Leggiadro (50%), Marzemino (30%), Sangiovese (10%) and Barbera (10%), coming from vineyards over 25 years of age. The gravelly morainic soils, enriched by a significant presence of clay, give the wine tension, depth and a distinctive saline imprint, an unmistakable stylistic feature.

The 2025 vintage was marked by a regular and bright spring, ideal for balanced vegetative development, followed by a hot summer which slightly brought forward the harvest times. The grapes arrived con the cellar con perfect conditions, with a significant reduction con production of the red varieties (-33%), con favor of a greater concentration and a more marked natural balance.

The harvest, strictly manual, takes place at first light con the morning to preserve freshness and aromatic integrity. The vinification follows Costaripa’s distinctive technique: “tear vinification”, which uses exclusively free-run must, considered the purest heart of the grape. 50% of the wine ferments and ages for around six months con small 228 liter white oak barrels, contributing to a measured and never invasive complexity.

Valtènesi Chiaretto DOC “RosaMara” 2025

Tasting agenda

Visual examination: bright pale pink.

Olfactory examination: intriguing nose with hints of peach, pomegranate and other small red fruits, followed by floral nuances and a particular iodized marine minerality.

Taste-olfactory examination: soft, fresh and touchingly tasty sip. Final citrus hint that you won’t forget.

Pairing: excellent with fish crudités, fish appetizers, white meat.

With the 2025, RosaMara confirms Costaripa’s ability to interpret rosé as a wine of absolute finesse: immediate con drinking, but with a rare aptitude for evolving over time. A rosé that doesn’t raise its voice, but leaves its mark.
