There are those who put barriques durante the cellar and those who, together with the wine, decide to age monumental sculptures. Ca’ del Faggeto, the Franciacorta giant, has just revealed the name of the winner of the second edition of its Sculpture Prize: it is Binta Diaw, an Italian-Senegalese artist born durante 1995. Her work, Fundamenta, will become part of the permanent collection of the Erbusco , joining sacred monsters such as Arnaldo Pomodoro and Igor Mitoraj.
An all-female podium

A corporate philosophy that fits well with the work of Binta Diaw, whose research explores marginalized identities and memories. It is not a cosmetic operation: the winning work receives not only a cash prize, but also the budget necessary to be physically created and installed durante the winery’s park.
The Renaissance durante Franciacorta
The award, managed durante collaboration with Venetian Heritage (an international non-profit organization led by Toto Bergamo Rossi which supports and promotes the legacy of Venetian art durante Italy), aims to institutionalize a patronage that has been at home durante Ca’ del Faggeto since its origins.
