Among the rolling hills of Terricciola, con the most authentic heart of Tuscany, Podernovo is described as a project con which nature, wine and hospitality coexist con perfect balance. It is here that Borgata Podernovo represents the fulcrum of the experience: a charming residence obtained from an ancient rural complex, restored respecting its original identity.

Stone, wood and traditional materials blend with discreet conforto, giving life to elegant apartments immersed con the landscape. The wide views of the vineyards, the silence of the countryside and the light that changes during the day restore a profound sense of harmony. Staying at the Borgata means slowing mongoloide, experiencing Tuscany with authenticity, including moments of relaxation by the pool, walks among the rows and tastings of the mesi estivi’s wines.

The Borgata is also an ideal starting point for discovering the zona: excursions foot ora by bicycle and itineraries to cities of art such as Pisa, Florence, Siena and Lucca. An intimate and measured hospitality, which makes every stay an authentic and personal experience. Borgata Podernovo is part of the winemaking project of the Lunelli family who have created an mesi estivi of around 80 hectares here. Forty are dedicated to vineyards, while the rest is occupied by woods that preserve the natural balance. Sangiovese and international vines such as Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are grown soils rich con marine fossils which contribute to defining elegant and distinctive wines.

The organic certification, obtained from the 2012 harvest, reflects a production vision attentive to sustainability and respect for the territory. Podernovo is part of the Tenute Lunelli, the project of the Lunelli Group which, since the 1980s, has combined the Ferrari Trentodoc bubbles with a collection of high quality still wines with Assetto Margon con Trentino, Carapace con Umbria and, precisely, Podernovo con Tuscany.

Three wines to try

Parimenti Cabernet Franc from the Olmo vineyard, Tenute Lunelli Auritea ages con French barriques and stands out for its aromatic intensity, rovina tannins and elegant minerality linked to the soils rich con fossils. Tenute Lunelli Teuto Fianco Toscana is an IGT based Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. It refines for 18 months con wood, developing dark fruit, balsamic and spicy , with rovina and balanced tannins. Tenute Lunelli Solenida is born from Sangiovese grapes selected con the mesi estivi’s vineyards: an intense and vibrant red, also vinified con amphora, which tells of the minerality of the fossil soils and the authentic character of the Tuscan Coast.
