Friulian pinza recipe for the Epiphany: traditional dessert

Description

The Surprise Friulian pinza is a dish that has actually been bied far for generations and is proposed every year at the end of the Christmas vacations, to thrill the tastes buds of grownups and kids. It is a scrumptious sweet focaccia, seasoned with grappa and enriched with great deals of dried fruit: figs, sultanas and sliced walnuts. A rustic, aromatic and welcoming dessert, to be acted as dessert on the day of the Surprise and delighted in for breakfast in the list below days.

Components

150 g of 00 flour;
150 g of corn flour foil;
120 g of granulated sugar;
200 ml of entire milk;
50 g of butter;
30 ml of grappa;
100 g of sultanas;
120 g of dried figs;
80 g of shelled walnuts;
1 package of yeast for desserts.

Directions

Sort both flours into a bowl and include the sorted baking powder. Gradually include the warm milk, you will have liquified the sugar in some, and the melted butter. Include the grappa to the mix and blend whatever with a whisk so that no swellings form. Lastly, likewise include the rehydrated sultanas, the sliced dried figs and the sliced walnuts. Put the mix into a plumcake mold lined with baking paper and prepare it for 40 minutes at 180 °. Let the Pinza Friulana cool initially, then sufficed into pieces and serve it.
