Welcome to Turin

Our Welcome to Turin Experience is an orientation to the city and its cooking thrills. Our specialist guide presents food enthusiasts to the interesting historical center, tasting artisanal specialities while taking in the primary monoliths. There is no much better setting to nibble grissini (Italian breadsticks) and tramezzini (sandwiches) than in their birth place.

From caffe espresso and the cubo cubic croissants, to gianduia, and cremini chocolate pralines, visitors taste scrumptious specializeds, relishing the regional way of life, and discover food customs and patterns. Sweet and tasty tasting experiences might end toasting to la dolce vita with a glass of red wine or a Bicerin.

Truffle Hunt & Homemade Lunch at a Vineyard

After lunch, take in the town and countryside of Barbaresco and taste the world popular red wines at a choose vineyard before completion of the day.

Discover Monferrato, the location in between Asti and Alessandria understood for its red and champagnes. Taste red white wines made from Barbera, Dolcetto and Grignolino, and gewurztraminers from the Cortese and Muscat ranges. Walk through Canelli, a UNESCO town, with miles of underground “cathedrals:” excavations going back to the 18th century and utilized ever since for red wine storage.

We will sign up with a personal or group check out at a historical red wine manufacturer and taste gleaming Moscato d’Asti together with a Metodo Classico and other red wines from the location.

There will be time for a break for lunch throughout which our sommelier will combine red wines with regional fare. The day ends with a check out to the town of Asti.
