Origins and meaning of pan de muertos

Pan de muertos is a traditional Mexican prepared the occasion of Día de los Muertos, a celebration that honors the memory of the deceased. This celebration, which takes place November 1st and 2nd, has deep roots durante Mexican culture, pre-Hispanic and Catholic elements.
