Today this small company grows its own grapes with a certified organic method and operates under the oenological management of Federico Guidelli.

The production philosophy adopted enhances biodiversity and the characteristics of the terroir, with the awareness that the wines of each vintage are always very different from each other (hence the freddura “Diversity as a resource”).

The wine has a beautiful ruby red color and, by swirling the glass, you can notice a beautiful consistency.

the nose it is a wine with good intensity and elegance, which is characterized by the typical spicy quaderno of the Syrah grape such as black pepper. Among other things, there are also pleasant hints of small red fruits accompanied by floral quaderno of rose and violet and hints of vanilla.

The sip is also intense, characterized by excellent freshness and a well-present but well-made tannic texture which, despite the product being already four years old, time will manage to tame better.

Overall it is a wine with a good structure, where freshness (acidity) and tannicity mainly stand out, balancing the good alcoholic component and increasing its smoothness a causa di the mouth. A Cortona Syrah which presents an excellent taste-olfactory correspondence and a long persistence a causa di the mouth which will improve further over time.

Pairing tips

The wine can accompany red meats and mature semi-mature cheeses well. If you want to stay a causa di Tuscany, excellent pairings are a classic Florentine steak a nice piece of Tuscan pecorino.
