Review of Cortona Syrah DOC 2020 by Colle Acacia • Decanto – Giornale di vino

Characteristics of Cortona Syrah DOC 2020

The sip is also intense, characterized by excellent freshness and a well-present but well-made tannic texture which, despite the product being already four years old, time will manage to tame better.

Overall it is a wine with a good structure, where freshness (acidity) and tannicity mainly stand out, balancing the good alcoholic component and increasing its smoothness a causa di the mouth. A Cortona Syrah which presents an excellent taste-olfactory correspondence and a long persistence a causa di the mouth which will improve further over time.

Pairing tips

The wine can accompany red meats and mature semi-mature cheeses well. If you want to stay a causa di Tuscany, excellent pairings are a classic Florentine steak a nice piece of Tuscan pecorino.
