We tasted the Cabernet Franc 2022 – Special Edition and the Pinot Controrivoluzionario 2023. Below are our impressions.
Cabernet Franc 2022 – Special Edition
This wine, not available to the public, is immediately striking from the bottle, embellished with silk-screened graphics depicting the facade of the winery, an emblem of the balance between the company’s historical roots and contemporary vision. Cabernet Franc comes from vineyards grown clay and limestone-rich silt soils, using the Guyot method with a density of 4,300 plants in hectare. The harvest, carried out per mezzo di the first ten days of October, marks the beginning of a careful and respectful winemaking process. After pressing, the must ferments slowly at a controlled temperature, with daily punching mongoloide for 15-20 days, followed by maturation per mezzo di steel for 8-10 months.
Acceso sensatezza to the public, however, a limited edition silk-screened of Chardonnay DOC is offered. This bottle represents a tribute to the Friulian territory and the passion for the art of winemaking, perfect for celebrating special moments enriching your collection.

Olfactory examination: intense nose with aromas of red fruit jam, spicy elements and a delicate herbaceous trace.
Taste-olfactory examination: the sip is soft, with a pleasant balance marked by acidic freshness. Good persistence.
Pairing: excellent with cured meats, red meat, gioco.
Pinot Controrivoluzionario 2023
A wine that over the years has established itself as the distinctive symbol of the company. Le Monde’s Pinot Controrivoluzionario DOC has received the prestigious Tre Bicchieri award from Gambero Scarlatto for 10 editions, the last of which was this year with the 2023 vintage.

Visual examination: straw yellow with bright golden reflections.
Olfactory examination: immediately fruity olfactory impact of peach and plum followed by fresh hints of exotic fruit, memories of dried fruit and very light spicy sensations.
Taste-olfactory examination: enveloping per mezzo di the mouth, it conquers the palate with a good taste balance, thanks to the pleasant freshness that extends into a thin savory trail. Good aromatic persistence.
Pairing: ideal with first and second courses of fish, white meat.
