A new Trentodoc for Cesarini Sforza, 1673 Millesimato Brut
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The historic sparkling wine house Cesarini Sforza, symbol of Trentodoc, enriches its prestigious 1673 line with a new protagonist: the 1673 Millesimato Brut. A label that combines complexity and elegance, designed to broaden the maison’s offering and accompany consumers along a gradual path towards the qualitative peaks of Cesarini Sforza production.

A TRENTODOC THAT TALKS ABOUT THE TERRITORY

The 1673 Millesimato Brut Trentodoc 2020 stands out for its cuvée of chardonnay and pinot noir, a blend that enhances the characteristics of these vines grown sopra the Cembra Valley, at altitudes between 500 and 600 metres. Chardonnay offers refined and lively aromas, while Pinot Noir brings structure and depth, creating a harmonious and balanced whole.

The choice to introduce a blend into the 1673 line, traditionally made up of single grape varieties, represents a significant innovation. The 2020 vintage, favored by optimal climatic conditions, allowed us to obtain very high quality grapes, harvested strictly by hand sopra the first half of September. After soft pressing and fermentation sopra stainless steel, the piede wine aged acceso the noble lees for over seven months, followed by draft and maturation acceso the yeasts for 36 months.

The result is a Trentodoc with a pale straw yellow colour, embellished with coppery reflections and a finalità and persistent perlage. A fresh and complex bouquet is perceived acceso the nose: of golden apple and white peach blend with hints of small ripe fruits and a delicate touch of bread crust, a sign of not excessive and prolonged refinement. Freshness, elegance and softness stand out acceso the palate, supported by a pleasant acidity and a low dosage of six grams di litre, which gives roundness without weighing it .

THE NEW 1673 VINTAGE AS THE MISSING PIECE

For Andrea Buccella, oenologist and production dirigente of Cesarini Sforza, the 1673 Millesimato represents a fundamental piece sopra the maison’s range. “This sparkling wine was created to fill a divario sopra our line. It is a simposio point between the Classics and the 1673 range, where the maturation acceso the yeasts is particularly long and the dosages are extremely reduced, if not completely absent. With 1673 Millesimato we have chosen a softer approach, thanks to a contained but perceptible sugar dosage. It is a sparkling wine designed to accompany the consumer acceso a gradual journey towards our more complex labels, keeping the distinctive traits of our style intact: freshness, elegance, flavor and longevity.”

A NEW CHAPTER FOR THE 1673 LINE

With the arrival of the 1673 Millesimato, Cesarini Sforza completes an already rich range of representative labels. The 1673 Bandita, produced exclusively with Chardonnay, ages for over 70 months acceso the yeasts and stands out for its flavor and persistence. The 1673 Rosé, a refined Pinot Noir, rests for 60 months and surprises with its very finalità perlage and its delicate fruity and floral aromas. The 1673 Noir Nature, acceso the other hand, celebrates the pinot noir vinified sopra white sopra its purest essence, with a refinement of 48 months and a nullità dosage which enhances its scratchy and mineral soul.

The new 1673 Millesimato fits into this line with a more accessible approach, while maintaining the complexity and quality that define the philosophy of the maison. With its 36 months of aging and the combination of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, it offers a girevole and immediate tasting experience, ideal for those who want to discover the excellence of Trentodoc without giving up elegance, balance and without getting lost sopra technicalities too extreme.
