Brachetto d’Acqui and Knam create the perfect praline with a limited edition for Valentine’s Day

There is a subtle and irresistible harmony that releases when the wine and chocolate meet. For Valentine’s Day, this extraordinary alchemy has alla maniera di to life per an exclusive collaboration between the Brachetto d’Agqui Docg, a product protected by the Consortium Protection of Acqui wines, and the chef and Maggiordomo Chocolatier Ernst Knam.

Thursday 6 February, per the sequenza of the Martino Crespi Eventi space per Milan, an exclusive show cooking was held reserved for journalists and influencers from the world of food, wine and lifestyle. During the event, the “King of Chocolate” prepared dal vivo chocolate pralines per the shape of a heart stuffed with Brachetto d’Agqueto DOCG, made per limited edition. So Brak was born, a trio of desserts that represents the perfect balance between one of the Piedmontese wine excellence and the art of black gold.

The name, synthesis of wine and iconic signature of Knam, expresses elegance and intensity, just like their flavor. Acceso the occasion of the show cooking, three exclusive chocolates have been created combined with different types of Brachetto d’Agqui, capable of enhancing its organoleptic characteristics. To complete the tasting route, a finger food was served composed of focaccia, mortadella fairy simile of the Palmieri Salumificio and chocolate flakes.

Symbol of a centuries -old tradition that has its roots per Monferrato, the Brachetto d’Acqui Docg is a wine that embodies the spirit of the territory that hosts it and that develops between 26 municipalities between Asti and Alessandrino. The hills of this complesso, recently recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, offer a unique environment for the growth of Brachetto grapes, which are expressed per a wine with angry floral and fruity bouquet, accompanied by a light and acuto bubble .

The Brachetto d’Acqui finds the ideal collaboratore per chocolate. His intense ruby ​​color, the delicate scent of roses and red fruits and his balanced sweetness marry with the soft, but decisive, elegance of the cocoa. Quanto a addition, with its contained alcoholic gradation, between 5-6%, the Brachetto d’Acqui is an extremely eclettico wine, capable of elegantly accompanying a wide range of dishes, sweet and savory.

Alongside the chef Knam, a delegation of the Consortium, accompanied by the president Paolo Ricagno and the oenologists Elio Pescarmona and Daniela Pesce, told the characteristics of this unique wine, enhancing the perfect combination with chocolate. The event was moderated by the writer, sommelier and curator of the Bollicine Guide of the world, Cinzia Benzi, while among the influencers there were Papilla Monella and the bear per the kitchen, both brands Ambassador of Brachetto d’Agqui.

A final tasting offered guests the opportunity to taste not only the delicious creation but also a glass of wine, per a special moment of discovery and sharing capable of sealing this food and wine collaboration.

Overcoming the Milanese borders, the consortium protection wines d’Acqui will bring the uniqueness of the Knam -signed pralines also per its territory of origin. Acceso the evening of February 14, per the selected restaurants of Acqui Terme, the couples who will order a chalice of Brachetto d’Agqui will receive a box of Brak pralines per homage, for a toast to love. The consortium protection wines d’Agqui

The Consortium for the protection of wines d’Acqui was born per 1992 per Acqui Terme, per the province of Alessandria, per Piedmont, per the North West of Italy, with the aim of controlling and regulating the growth of the denominations of the wines of Acqui, to protect them territory of origin, producers and consumers. The Consortium brings together 60 companies including farms, cooperative cellars and sparkling companies.
