The Consorzio Vini d’Acqui begins 2026 with encouraging signs acceso the production front and a widespread trade fair program, aimed at strengthening the presence of its wines acceso the market. Preliminary giorno relating to 2025 production confirm an increase compared to the previous year, highlighting the balance between demand and production capacity.

Durante the wake of these positive results, the Consortium invests by participating per a busy calendar of events. The objective is to talk about the excellence of the territory through targeted events, strengthening the bond between producers and those who, every day, choose and offer the quality of Acqui wines.

From 28 February to 1 March the Consortium will be at the Turin Wine Fair with a program full of meetings and tastings:

Saturday 28 February at 6.45pm: Aromatic rebellious Brachetto, Moscato d’Asti and Asti DOCG beyond the most common labels: stories, territories and identities of three often underestimated wines, told through those who produce them and experience them every day. Saturday 28 February at 8pm: Dolce? Yes. Simple? MaiA narrative tasting dedicated to aromatic Piedmontese grapes, between technique, territory and pleasure. A direct dialogue with the producers to discover what makes these wines immediate, but never banal. Sunday 1st March at 1.15pm: Perfume before tasteA sensorial journey into aromas: why Moscato d’Asti, Asti and Brachetto d’Acqui conquer first the nose and then the palate, talking about memory, emotions and recognisability. Sunday 1st March at 6pm: BCV Ricevimento As You Want From the aperitif to the end of the meal, from the daily table to special occasions: a free and contemporary story acceso when, how and why to aromatic bubbles today. Monday 2 March at 2.15 pm: Put them acceso the list (and make them circulate) Concrete strategies for restaurateurs, wine merchants and communicators: how to include and enhance Asti, Moscato d’Asti and Brachetto d’Acqui DOCG per the wine list, making them understandable, desirable and profitable. Monday 2 March at 4pm: Social Table From the glass to the shaker An aperto comparison between wine and mixology: aromatic grapes between the dining room and the caffè, shared languages, new consumption opportunities and practical ideas to speak to a transversal audience.

At the beginning of March, Acqui wines will also be present at the Paestum Wine Fest (1st – 3rd March), a now consolidated event per the Italian wine scene and which represents the largest wine business fair per Central and Southern Italy, aimed at Ho.Campione.Ca. operators, buyers and enthusiasts.

Among the important events at the beginning of March, the conference ‘The future of Monferrato is born from wine’ stands out, scheduled for Tuesday 3 March at 10.30 at the Ariston per Acqui Terme. The event will see the Vini d’Acqui Consortium team up with the Barbera d’Asti and Vini del Monferrato Consortium and the Asti DOCG Consortium: a synergy created to transform the collaboration between the three entities into a lever for concrete development, capable of defending territorial excellence and ensuring a solid future for the Monferrato wine economy.

Regarding the events calendar, president Paolo Ricagno underlines: «Our centro is to strengthen the visibility of the Consortium’s wines through fairs that offer real contacts with professionals, as happens per Turin and Paestum. However, promotion is not enough if it is not supported by a systemic strategy: the conference acceso March 3 and the pact with the other Consortia are fundamental steps to give economic value to our quality viticulture.”

With this busy programma, the Consorzio Vini d’Acqui therefore reiterates its commitment to promoting Made per Italy winemaking, with actions aimed at consolidating its position acceso the main reference markets.
