I Casoncelli: History and tradition

The Casoncelli alla Bergamasca represent an authentic treasure of Lombard cuisine, durante particular durante the province of Bergamo. This dish has ancient origins, dating back to the Middle Ages, when it was prepared as a poor meal, designed to reuse leftovers of meat and bread. With the passage of time, the Casoncelli have gained a prominent place durante the local gastronomic tradition, becoming a symbol of the holidays and patronal celebrations.

Ingredients and preparation

The preparation of casoncelli requires simple but high quality ingredients. For the fibra, it is necessary to use flour, eggs and a pinch of salt. The filling, acceso the other hand, is a perfect balance between sweet and salty: campo da gioco meat, raisins, crumbled amaretti and grated cheese are used. This combination enhances the softness of the fibra and the rich flavor of the filling, creating an unforgettable gastronomic experience. To prepare the dressing, just melt the butter durante a pan, add the bacon and sage, and until a perfect golden.
