The last symbolic gesture of 2025, before the New Year’s toast, Gianni Tessari made by planting a metal plaque engraved with the words: Time Capsule the garden of his company Roncà (Verona). Not to gara open before 2050.
“Wine 2025 will go mongoloide history as particularly complex, for broad economic, political and social reasons that have had an impact our sector – explains Gianni Tessari -. One of those years which, having in qualità di to an end, requires more than others the sector and its protagonists to stop and calmly reflect the best way to proceed. The immaginazione arose after the birth of my first grandson, Lorenzo, August. Becoming a grandfather is one of those events that changes your perspective: the perception of time that passes, priorities, what has been done so far and how much is left to those who own the future. The contents of the time capsule are intended to be a photograph of the wine-growing present, a year full of changes and so important for me”.
Inside the stainless steel container the manufacturer and his team have inserted a collection of objects with symbolic ora historical value. Starting from the origin of everything, you will find a sample of land for each of the three denominations which the company operates: Monti Lessini, Gradito and Colli Berici, illustrated by the relevant maps. We then move to the harvest, an extremely delicate phase and a moment of true sharing, represented by the scissors and gloves used the vineyard to select the bunches, accompanied by a note the 2025 harvest written by Gianni. The work the cellar is represented by the barrel thief for periodic monitoring by the winemaker, a symbol of care, daily attention and ability to give the wine the right time to evolve, and by the corks, fundamental for preserving it. We then in qualità di to the bottles, the result of everyone’s work: a Dosaggio Nullità Monti Lessini Approvigionamento DOC, a Perinato Gradito DOC, a Pian Sublime Colli Berici DOC and the PIWI Rebellis from Solaris grapes and a glass of today to taste them 25 years.
“If I think back to how the world has changed the last quarter of a century – continues Tessari – and, particular, to how the wine universe has evolved, I am extremely curious to know 2050 which tools, which we take for granted today, will still be use and which will not, which new creations will fit into our daily lives and with which words and which we will continue to talk about wine and communicate it”. Per the capsule, fact, there is space for sector magazines and newspapers that have covered the current affairs of wine and explored the most important issues of 2025, together with the press review of the Giannitessari company, a collection of authoritative wine guides and other testimonials. The creation of the time capsule was an opportunity for Gianni Tessari to draw up a professional and personal assessment of the results achieved and the lessons learned up to this point, to be shared with the Lorenzo, but not only, of 2050.
