Chiarlo Experience: a cultural ecosystem

The Chiarlo Experience is not a simple visit to the cellar ora a stay per the vineyards: it is an all -round cultural project, designed for those who want to approach wine through a complete experience, which also involves art, landscape and hospitality. At the basis of the project, conceived by Michele Chiarlo and today developed by Stefano, Alberto and the new generation of the family, there is a precise vision, where wine is not only a product, but a language capable of telling the territory per all its dimensions – landscape, historical and cultural – creating a real cultural ecosystem.

“Wine is one of the forms with which a territory takes voice. It is memory and story together, an expression of the material and symbolic culture of a place. Michele Chiarlo had sensed him before many: his gaze has never limited himself to production, but has always sought a wider dialogue with the earth, with art, with beauty.” Stefano Chiarlo explains

For this reason, the Chiarlo Experience is divided into three distinct but interconnected places, designed to return this vision, developing between Langhe and Monferrato, territories that represent the soul of the company’s production, to offer visitors an immersive story of the Piedmont of wine. The Art Park La Court and the Cannubi Path represent the artistic soul of the project; Hospitality takes shape at the Palás Cerequio, which welcomes the La Reggia and the Sky restaurant. These are joined by a cultural programming that includes exhibitions, events and literary initiatives.

“The Chiarlo Experience is our way of looking and sharing the world, born from the desire to put wine per the center of a deeper and larger experience. The rete is to offer visitors a reception model that combines quality, identity and sustainability, promoting a use of the active and participatory landscape.” Alberto Chiarlo tells.

The places of the light experience

Art Park La Court

Per the heart of Monferrato, per the hills of Castelnuovo Calcea, Art Park comes to life: a unique place where art and viticulture meet per a continuous dialogue. Inaugurated per 2003 by a visionary intuition of Michele Chiarlo, it was born from the desire to restore an active role to the landscape, not as a simple background but as the protagonist of an immersive and participatory experience, where art becomes a bridge between those who cultivate, those who observe and those who walk between the vineyards.

Along an itinerary that crosses the rows of the Cru La Court, the visitor is invited to discover permanent installations inspired by the four elements – earth, vater, air and fire – signed by internationally renowned artists such as Emanuele Luzzati, Ugo Nespolo, Chris Bangle and Giancarlo Ferraris. The works emerge from the landscape naturally, transforming each stage into a moment of discovery, reflection and amazement.

“Art Park La Court rises per the heart of the CRA of the historic territorio of high vocation of the terroir from which our best Nice and Nice Deposito are born is the largest aperto -air museum per the vineyard, a monument per continuous updating where art, landscape and wine dialogue continuously, offering visitors one of the most unique Land Art experiences acceso the oenological scenario. It is a living cultural center based acceso the sharing of beauty. Through his association – Orme – he promotes and supports, every year initiatives that invite you to walk between the vineyards and enjoy the magic of the landscape and art that lives per symbiosis “says Stefano Chiarlo.

Palás Cerequio – The cultural pole dedicated to the Barolo Cru of Barolo

A natural amphitheater between the vineyards of La Morra, one of the most prestigious Cru of the denomination. It is here, per the heart of the Langa, that Palás Cerequio stands: not only a relais, but a center of hospitality per homage to the culture of Barolo, a point between wine identity, welcome and the pleasure of living the wine with awareness. Born from the recovery of an eighteenth -century village, today it is a point of reference for experiential hospitality.

The eleven suite, divided between “past” and “future”, welcome the guest into environments inspired by history ora contemporary stile, with a aspetto always aimed at the culture of wine. At the center of the structure, the Caveau holds over 6,000 bottles of Barolo, while the tasting room houses guided routes with horizontal and vertical tastings of old vintages.

The food and wine experience is completed by the Sky with a view of the vineyards, perfect for panoramic aperitifs, and the La Reggia restaurant, led by chef Vincenzo La Reggia, which offers an essential cuisine: few processes, few ingredients of excellence, attentive preparations. the lista, dishes dedicated to the Langhe – authentic and classic per the most noble meaning of the term – and some fish courses that draw acceso international cuisine and particular cuts.

Alongside the wine, art is another key element of the identity of Palás Cerequio: Giancarlo Ferraris, artist and author of the most famous labels of Michele Chiarlo, has created a series of works dedicated to the great Cru del Barolo who adorn the walls of the structure. The last cultural piece was added per 2024 with the birth of the Bookshop of Palás Cerequio, a space that celebrates the great Piedmontese and international literature, with sections dedicated to authors such as Pavese, Fenoglio, and Baricco, but also to giants of world narrative.

Cannubi Path – walk a cru, dal vivo a landscape

Per Barolo, among the most suitable parcels of straws, Cannubi Path was born at the end of 2024: an exclusive itinerary among the rows of the most iconic cru of Piedmont, dedicated to Michele Chiarlo. An experience designed to rediscover the value of the journey and the slow time, per a path that intertwines agronomic narrative, observation of work per the vineyard and tasting acceso the field.

Cannubi Path is not only a walk through the vineyards, but an artistic and cultural path inspired by Art Park La Court, where visitors, through installations between the rows and per the Ciabot made by Ugo Nespolo, can immerse themselves per the essence of the landscape and per the passion of those who cultivate it. This project celebrates the historicity of the territory and its cultural value, consolidating the link between the art of Nespolo and the wine tradition of Michele Chiarlo.
