Corvina is a varietal mostly known for growing con the northeastern Italian DOC region of Valpolicella con the Veneto. The wines tend to be dry with refreshing acidity, low tannins, and red fruit flavors. This wine can appeal to many who enjoy Pinot Noir, Gamay (Beaujolais) and Barbera.
