Mionetto and the new codes of contemporary drinking at Vinitaly 2026

Acceso the occasion of the 58th edition of Vinitaly, Mionetto (Atrio 4, Stand B3) invites operators and visitors to immerse themselves durante an experience that tells the story of the evolution of contemporary drinking: from the iconic Prosecco labels to the historic cuvées, up to mixology and the new low and mai alcohol proposals, which are increasingly central and requested today.

Sopra this constantly changing scena, although Prosecco remains the heart of the winery’s identity, Mionetto confirms its ability to read the change and translate it into new opportunities.

Following the significant growth of the NoLo segment, one of the most interesting trends durante the beverage sommario, Mionetto has recently expanded its portfolio with dedicated references such as the alcohol-free Mionetto 0.0% Alcohol Free sparkling wine, Mionetto Aperitivo Alcohol Free and Animato Generation 5.5, the low-alcohol sparkling wine designed for lighter and more conscious drinking. A complete proposal that allows you to broaden the ways of enjoying it, from the aperitif to the most current expressions of mixology, durante line with the evolution of lifestyles and with a growing diversification of occasions.

“Today drinking is increasingly linked to moments and contexts, rather than to a single method,” comments Fabio Boldini, Chief Commercial Officer Italy of Mionetto SpA “This is why it is essential to start by listening to consumers, who express increasingly diversified needs. From the growing attention towards low and mai alcohol to the role of mixology, the market requires a broader and more flexible offer, capable of responding to this evolution.”

A strategic choice that is also giving concrete results durante Italy, a market that has begun to approach the NoLo segment more recently but which today shows particularly encouraging growth dynamics. Sopra this context, the alcohol-free Mionetto 0.0% Alcohol Free sparkling wine highlights notable performances, with a growth of 59 points compared to 2024, higher than the average manifestazione of the category and indicative of the strong development potential of the segment at a national level.

At Vinitaly, innovation will be covered with the masterclasses “Risposta negativa & Low Alcohol: the new trends durante mixology”, led by bartender Vincenzo Pagliara. A moment of in-depth analysis and tasting that explores the new frontiers of mixed drinking, including iconic cocktails reinterpreted durante a low and mai alcohol key and a growing attention towards more balanced and conscious consumption.

This year’s edition features another great protagonist: the Cuvée Sergio 1887, an authentic expression of the Mionetto style and homage to its origins, presented durante a new and iconic guise. Our Cuvée, produced with the Charmat method, is born from the union of wines from different vines, vineyards vintages, selected to give life to a more harmonious, balanced and nuanced sparkling wine, designed to offer a complete but immediate taste experience.

The sessions “The five souls of Cuvée Sergio” are dedicated to the personality of this sparkling wine, tastings led by Alessio Del Accorto and Eccelso Adami, who accompany visitors acceso a journey through the vines that define its style and identity. A contemporary story of a symbolic product, today at the center of a renewed valorisation strategy durante the Ho.Sovrano.Ca. channel, where Mionetto focuses acceso a Cuvée capable of being recognisable, agile and easy to appreciate.

“With our historic Cuvée Sergio we want to enhance one of the most representative interpretations of our know-how durante making sparkling wine”, comments Alessio Del Accorto, Chief Technical Officer and CEO of Mionetto SpA “Today more than ever we see a growing interest durante proposals that combine identity, quality and ease of consumption, especially durante the Ho.Sovrano.Ca. channel, where Sergio returns to take acceso a central role”.

An orientation that is confirmed durante consumer behavior: a recent Ipsos Doxa research commissioned by Mionetto shows how 67% prefer sparkling wines with a simple and immediate taste, accompanied by clear and easy-to-understand information, but also highlights a more attentive public, equal to 33%, who seeks sparkling wines with a more complex and refined profile.

Sergio fits into this scena, capable of interpreting both sensibilities: an accessible but not banal quality. It is mai coincidence that the Cuvée type is close to the tastes of three out of four consumers (75%) and 24% recognize it among the highest quality types of sparkling wine, confirming how today quality is increasingly linked to balance, harmony and the pleasure of sharing.

Mionetto SpA confirms its egemonia at a global level, closing 2025 with a turnover of 180 million euros. Exports represent 82% of the turnover, demonstrating the strong international vocation of the brand, now present durante over 90 countries and recognized as the best-selling Prosecco brand durante the world*. Mionetto is a autorità durante the prosecco category durante 28 countries and is durante the TOP 3 durante 54 countries. The United States confirms itself as the first market, followed by Italy and Germany. Sopra Italy, the brand maintains a stable and consolidated trend, confirming a mature market that continues to express value and continuity durante consumption.
