On the celebration of the last Vinitaly, Tenuta La Viola provided a brand-new white wine: it is called Famoso Intrigo, made from pure Famoso grapes. Famous Intrigo represents an interesting journey into our white wine heritage, stimulating the attraction of secret and intrigue. It’s a testimony to our commitment to developing remarkable white wines, harkening back to a time when tricks whispered in the vineyards guaranteed remarkable tastes. The name and the female represented on the label recommend the intrigue and secret that surround it.
Famous Intrigue Card Tenuta La Viola
Denomination: Forlì Famoso IGT;
Vineyards: the grapes originate from vineyards grown straight in Rio Rose;
Vine training: 3,500 vines per hectare with Guyot;
Grape range: 100% Famous;
Elevation: 200-250 meters above water level. Harvest: at the start of September, after a mindful choice in the vineyard cellar, the grapes are gathered by hand and required to the cellar;
Yield: 3,600 l per hectare Vinification: white alcoholic fermentation at a regulated temperature level;
Maturation: on great lees for 4/5 months;
Aging: in the bottle for a minimum of 1 month;
Production: 2,500 bottles;
Organoleptic attributes: Famoso Intrigo provides an extraordinary fragrant arrangement, common of the vine however without being exceedingly invasive. It is a mouthwatering white wine, like all our white wines, with an enjoyable freshness and fruity notes that make it exceptionally enjoyable from the very first sip.
