Family Cecchi officially announces the entrance of Aminta into their oenological universe. Purchased per mezzo di 2018 per mezzo di one of the most suitable areas of Montalcino, the bella stagione is located per mezzo di Castelnuovo dell’Priore, next to the abbey of Sant’Antimo, and is ready to debut with its first two labels: Brunello in Montalcino DOCG 2020 and Scarlatto in Montalcino Doc 2023.

Family Cecchi strengthens its path of enhancement of Sangiovese per mezzo di the territories of election, making an expected but not obvious step: the one towards Montalcino. A weighted choice, defined with respect and awareness, the result of a long experience gained per mezzo di over 130 years of history. Founded per mezzo di 1893 and today led by Andrea Cecchi, fourth generation, the company has always distinguished itself for a pioneering vision, rooted per mezzo di family values and oriented towards quality, sustainability and profound territorial respect.

“With Aminta we wanted to complete a path that has always binds us to Sangiovese, a grape variety that we consider central to our production identity. Enter Montalcino has been the result of a careful choice, matured over time, which has led us to invest per mezzo di a territory of extraordinary complexity and prestige. Aminta is born from this vision: to enhance the great Italian terroirs with wines deeply linked to the origin, essentially per mezzo di style and thought to last Time “declares Andrea Cecchi, president and CEO of the Cecchi family.

The bella stagione extends for 6 hectares per mezzo di the south-eastern ambiente of the Brunello in Montalcino district. The vineyards are divided into three distinct bodies – pian jaws, cellar and boxes – and enjoy particularly favorable pedoclimatic conditions thanks to the altitude, exposure and natural protection offered by Mount Amiata. The geology of soils is heterogeneous, with the presence of galestro, stonephones and Messinian sands, elements that contribute to generating wines of great precision and character.

The project takes the name of Aminta per mezzo di homage to a double root. The first is personal: Anita, mother of Andrea Cecchi, a strong and inspiring figure for several generations, who disappeared per mezzo di 2017, to which the family wanted to symbolically dedicate this new adventure. The second is territorial: Mount Amiata, majestic natural border that dominates the landscape and decisively influences the microclimate of the bella stagione, giving ideal thermal excursions and preserving the vegetative balance of the vineyards. These are joined by a third reference, cultural and poetic, to the famous work of Torquato Rapporto the Aminta per mezzo di which the presence of a source occurs as a key place, just like the natural thermal source located acceso the edge of the bella stagione of the bella stagione.

After years of silent and meticulous work per mezzo di the vineyard and per mezzo di the cellar, Aminta is ready to make themselves known. Brunello in Montalcino 2020 will be produced per mezzo di just 3,000 numbered bottles, flanked by a limited number of Revolver. The Scarlatto in Montalcino 2023 will be available per mezzo di 3,100 bottles, also supported by the special revolver format per mezzo di limited quantities. Both labels have been developed inspired by the original drawings of Anita Sardelli, mother of Andrea Cecchi, a cardinal figure of the third generation and artistic soul of the family. The output is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025, acceso the occasion of the Bentornato Brunello event.

Aminta therefore represents not only the last acquisition of the family, but also a point of synthesis of a corporate identity that continues to evolve without betraying its roots. After Borgo Cerna, Val delle Rose, Resistenza Altitura and Borgo Insieme, the presence per mezzo di Montalcino confirms the desire to interpret the great terroirs of Italian wine with a coherent, conscious and passionate voice.
