Festa a Vico returns – Solidarity at the center of the food and wine event created by Gennaro Esposito, between starred chefs and tastings of great Italian and foreign wines – Wine Blog Roll

From Monday 10 to Wednesday 12 June 2024, Vico Equense hosts the now popular cooking occasion “Festa a Vico”, developed by chef Gennaro Esposito as a homage to his homeland.

This is the 21st edition of the occasion which has uniformity as its sole function.

This is the formula of “Festa a Vico”: 3 various nights to assist in various charitable activities and – clearly – various gastronomic experiences.

10.00 am: Invite by chef Gennaro Esposito 10.30 am: Speech by Maddalena Fossati, director of La Cucina Italiana, with worldwide chefs. Discussion of the Gala Supper and election of Italian food for World Heritage status. 11.30 am: Talk by Gabriele Gorelli, Master of White wine, with crucial Italian F&B Supervisors. The Star Supper (Occasion with Ticket)

In the spaces of the historical Pizza al City, the standard Festa a Vico charity gala supper provides a brand-new format this year, in cooperation with La Cucina Italiana and Associazione Le Soste. The night, entitled “Bites of Italy: the event of Italian food”, supports the candidateship of “Italian food in between sustainability and biocultural variety” as a UNESCO intangible heritage.

The supper will see the involvement of worldwide chefs who will translate Italian components, using a distinct gastronomic experience.
