José Mourinho, famous football coach and global sports icon, has added a new and refined facet to his career with the launch of his red wine, named after the nickname that made him famous: “The Special One”. A wine adventure that intertwines its Portuguese roots with a passion for excellence and quality.

A wine born per Mourinho’s homeland

“The Special One” is produced per the renowned Douro region of Portugal, a land known for its spectacular landscapes and centuries-old winemaking tradition. The grapes used to make it include native Portuguese varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Maniera Barroca and Sousão. This mescolanza gives life to an elegant and structured wine, which conquers the palate with intense flavors of ripe red fruits, a touch of spices and well-balanced tannins.
