Quality, development and attention to the area: Tenute Ballasanti selects the oenologist Luca Caramellino to provide sophistication and character to its red wines, keeping their character undamaged. A brand-new stage starts for the business established by Manuela Seminara, a Sicilian lady in love with her native land, with a dazzling supervisory profession, and Fabio Gualandris, leading supervisor, astrophysicist and innovator from Bergamo with an enthusiasm for botany.

Born in ’71, of Piedmontese origins, Luca Caramellino finished in Viticulture and Oenology in 1996 and because 2007 started a profession as a freelance expert, teaming up with numerous wineries throughout Italy. His vision of the harvest is based upon an objective where grape harvesters, cellar employees and cutting edge operators commit dedication and enthusiasm to the wine making procedure. The eclecticism and creativity that differentiate him are motivated by the love of the sea and travel and bring a breath of freshness and development to the Ballasanti task.

” The cooperation with Luca was born from a conference of kindred spirits– states Manuela Seminara, owner of the business–. We selected to count on him since he is a genuine poet of red wine, with whom we discovered an extensive consistency in the red wine language. His entry will not alter the identity of the estate, on the contrary, it will assist us reveal it even much better: our red wines will stay real to themselves, however will obtain various subtleties, highlighting the connection and development of our task”.

In parallel with the enhancement of the red wines and business image, a label restyling procedure was begun. The recommendations, now bottled in burgundy, consist of Etna Bianco Doc, Etna Rosso Doc and Nerello Mascalese Sicilia Doc. The brand-new labels remember the distinct characteristics of the business through the principle of the triangle, the ideal geometric figure.

The 2 triangles attracted the graphic, one dealing with upwards and the other downwards, assemble at the exact same point representing the conference of 2 various natures, Manuela and Fabio. Transparently, on the top of every one, an example to the lava circulation remembers part of the logo design, representing a double vision of the volcano: the genuine one, Etna, and the perfect one, Tenute Ballasanti.
