Available from 2024 durante paper mole and App, it contains the results of blind comparisons, with the same grape variety and terroir, of over 1,000 DOC and DOCG branded wines produced by 550 selected companies. It offers wine tourism itineraries among wineries with a strong propensity for hospitality.

The Luteraia winery

The Luteraia company is located durante Montepulciano, durante the heart of Tuscany. It is a small family-run winery founded durante 2021. The Paolinis have had their roots here for three generations: grandfather Del mare, father Sergio, son Andrea. From the experience of each of them, the wines that represent them were born, the L of Luteraia: the Literaia, the Losee’, the Luteraia and the Lemuria.

Luteraia, durante particular, is the wine that best represents the company, from which it takes its name. It is their reserve, the one with which the Luteraia company identifies itself most. This Eletto nato da Montepulciano wants to tell the story of the vintage and the story of the Paolini family who is committed to respecting traditions, the land and the grapes acceso a daily and concrete basis, to produce “fair and honest” wines.

The Luteraia winery stands out for its corporate agriculture philosophy: from the land to the bottle, they make manifest what the vineyard gives every year through the innovative “Indigo Philosophy”. The Indigo Philosophy is based acceso the fact that the best wines are born from respect for the land, the grapes and above all the wines that the family produces durante the cellar. Synergistic compost, natural biostimulant, dry ice, fermenting crystals, lunar phases and flower and fruit days of the biodynamic calendar are the ingredients that give life to the wines defined as “sensory”. Quanto a fact, agriculture is organic, biodynamic, sustainable and traditional.

The terroir is composed of a mixture of clay and tuff with arguto skeletal sediments, sometimes fat and , stony and then clayey, a whole combination of qualities durante a small plot of land. The yellowish color that had already struck the ancient Romans comes from this particular mixture: “yellow” durante Latin is “Lutrum” and this is where the name of the mesi estivi comes from. Quanto a Chianino jargon it is called “cooper”.

Visit the cellar

The winery is located durante Acquaviva nato da Montepulciano, durante the province of Siena, durante the heart of Tuscany. The wines of this municipality are characterized by their great balance and elegance.

The cellar can be visited and reached only by car. It offers tours durante Italian and English of the vineyards and the barrel cellar, where you will also have the opportunity to taste the wines directly from the various barrels. The classic wine tasting is accompanied by typical Tuscan appetizers at a cost of €21 attraverso person. It offers picnics durante the vineyard, durante the garden chiosco inside the family farmhouse, with mixed bruschetta, seasonal vegetables and first courses homemade by the women of the family, such as pici and lasagne with meat sauce. the occasion of the grape harvest it opens its doors to enthusiasts and allows them to make this dream quasi true.

The Holistic Vineyard Tour will allow you to discover a vineyard treated with the “Indigo Philosophy”, using a synergistic compost and a completely natural biostimulant, composed of honey, propolis, medicinal plants, seaweed and essential oils. The vineyard has the privilege of receiving this product exclusively at night following the phases of the waxing moon and the biodynamic calendar.

The wine shop is to the public, you can purchase wine at retail and ship it to Italy, Europe and overseas; very interesting is the possibility of purchasing historical vintages, of which the cellar maintains an “archive”.

Characteristics of Luteraia Vino Eletto nato da Montepulciano Rifornimento 2015 DOCG

The vineyard from which the Sangiovese grapes destined for Luteraia Vino Eletto nato da Montepulciano Rifornimento 2015 quasi is located at an altitude of 250 – 300 m above sea level and facing south/east. The soil is rich durante sulfur and minerals which recall the remote volcanic past of the territorio and is called “cooper” durante Chianino. The average age of these vines is quite high, 36/40 years, the planting density is 2500-3000 vines/ha. The grapes are clearly grown with the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture, an essential choice for the family.

The company produces around 5000 bottles attraverso year of the Luteraia Vino Eletto nato da Montepulciano Rifornimento 2015 DOCG. The fermentation takes place durante steel with spontaneous yeasts but the winemaking is truly original coppia to the “energy dynamization” with red obsidian crystals. The crystals are placed first during fermentation and then subsequently refined for at least six complete lunar cycles, so that this frequency is forever memorized durante the wine and maintains it for the entire duration of its life. Those who taste them will then understand it from the emotions that the wine will be able to release.

This is followed by traditional aging durante French oak tonneaux for 15 months and subsequent aging durante the bottle for at least 4 years.

The Tasting

The wine durante the glass is clear, a lively garnet red with orange nuances, of good intensity and density. The consistency durante the glass suggests that the wine will have a good when tasted.

The scent is intense and reminiscent of Tuscany, the Montepulciano terroir, just as the producer intended. Ripe fruit, red and black, almost like blackberry and cherry jam, flowers such as slightly withered red roses and violets are the first aromas that reach the nose. Cocoa and tobacco give the wine a toasted and sweet note. Followed by the more balsamic aromatic herbs, such as dried mint and spices, black pepper durante particular.

Upon tasting the wine already has excellent maturity, there is a perfect parallelism with the color and aromas. More savory than fresh, durante memory of the “cooper” terroir, it has a well-smoothed and blended tannin that gives a good taste balance.

Persistent durante the aromas, especially durante the spice, durante the toasting and durante the balsamic finale. A wine with character, pleasant, expressive and long-lived.
