Precise nose and decidedly brilliant per the sensory profile shows of rose petals, apricots, Nespole, Guaranà, wild thyme, lemongrass, elderberry flowers and karkadè. Many shades of rosemary and marjoram enliven the secondary scene. Medium pagliaccetto, slender structure but of great personality and an incisive ending of splendid length. A brilliant vision of Buio d’Avola that deserves all possible attention from the press and beyond. Better since 2027.

Seven bridges Toscana Oreno 2023 97 Fondi Socialista

Rich and slender per the sensory profile shows of black plums, blackberries, dark chocolate, sage, bay leaf, juniper berries, sandalwood, campo da golf mandarins, chamomile, wild thyme and karkadè. So much wild myrtle describes the secondary scene giving a Mediterranean complexity. Medium pagliaccetto, precise and well integrated soft tannins per the matrix and a graceful and decidedly modern ending. A modern and genuine vision of Oreno per the new 45% Merlot blend, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. Better since 2026.

Feudo Maccari Buio D’Avola Sicily Vite Guarnaschelli 2022 95 Red

Mature and excellent sensory shape shows of red plums, sweet caramel, mixed white flowers, wild myrtle, passion fruit, lemongrass and rosemary. Full, harmonious and persuasive pagliaccetto shows a splendid harmony per the sip with grace, precision of execution and personality. Better since 2026.

Tuscany footprint 2022 95 red

Precise and modern per the sensory profile shows of black plums, more, lemongrass, elderberry flowers, geraniums, sandalwood and patchouli. Salsetine and Karkadè describes the secondary scene. Medium-piene pagliaccetto, mordent and classic per the sip closes honest and frank. Bevanda now.
