A basic scrumptious green focaccia made from spinach, perfect as aperitif or simply to take pleasure in as bread alternative.

Serve 4-5, Preparation time 30 minutes, Resting time about 5 hours, Cooking 20 minutes

. 350 g plain flour/ All Function Flour, sieved . 150 g fresh or frozen spinach . 6gr fresh maker’s yeas or 2 gr dry maker’s yeast . 200 ml lukewarm water . a level tablespoon of great salt . 20 ml Olive Oil . Coarse salt, a pinch .

Approach

Boil spinach fresh or frozen in plenty boiling water, squeeze them well. You might require to cut rather with scissors before including them to the mixer. Been them till pureed and location it in a big bowl.

Melt the fresh maker’s yeast in 20 ml of lukewarm water, reserved.

Include flour to the spinach puree together with yeast, oil, including lukewarm water a little at a time stirring with a wood spoon, include the salt at the end. Turn the dough out onto a gently floured work surface area, begin kneading with your hands till you get a compact dough, no matter if not entirely smooth.
