Tenute Sannella: technical identity and stylistic coherence in Daunia

Tenute Sannella is confirmed today one of the most representative realities of the new Apulian viticulture, based durante San Rilevante, durante the heart of Daunia. A project that, born durante the early 2000s, found a decisive turning point with the entry of the Sannella family and the assignment of the winemaker to Prof. Riccardo Cotarella, among the greatest protagonists of contemporary Italian enology.

The corporate vineyards extend acceso limestone-clayey soils, deep, well drained and rich durante skeleton, durante an complesso characterized by constant ventilation and strong thermal excursions. Viticulture follows a certified biological approach, with low impact practices, low made for hectare, selective branches and manual harvests. The rete is to obtain perfectly healthy and concentrated grapes, able to better express the identity of the terroir.

The cardinal grape variety is the black of Troy, interpreted with extreme oenological precision and great stylistic consistency. The vinification includes calibrated macerations of 15-20 days, targeted delegs and constant control of the extractive parameters. The refinement takes place durante large 25 hl barrels and a second passage barrique, to preserve aromatic integrity and balance. The result is a wine that represents a convincing synthesis between structure, tannic finesse, balanced acidity and varietal recognition, with spiced traits, balsamic and well -integrated fruity.

A modern and credible reading of the per Troia, which can be taken as a reference model for the complesso durante terms of style, technical precision and territorial enhancement.

At the Vinoway Selection 2025 he obtained the gold medal, objective confirmation of the path of qualitative growth undertaken.

May 26, I had the great pleasure of attending an exclusive day dedicated to corporate production, durante the presence of Prof. Riccardo Cotarella and over 150 professionals durante the food and wine sector: sommeliers, restaurateurs, buyers and journalists. The highest moment was undoubtedly the masterclass conducted by Cotarella himself, who – as usual – transformed the tasting into a real lesson of applied oenology. With an engaging and rigorous style, he illustrated technical aspects, production approaches, critical issues and potential of each wine, inviting those present to actively participate durante the sensory comparison.

Con a visuale where real quality is increasingly distinguished from the simple narrative, Tenute Sannella shows that consistency, method and wine culture are the basis acceso which the future of a territorial and competitive wine is built.
