Castel Bricon is the new country residence among the vineyards that takes shape per the Berici Hills thanks to the vision of the Biasin family, already at the helm of the Cà Rovere winery. One year after the inauguration of the panoramic terrace dedicated to wine tourism events and experiences, the recovery of an ancient agricultural farmhouse gives life to a charming farmhouse with thirteen rooms, a swimming pool surrounded by greenery and a deep connection with the landscape, where orderly rows meet spontaneous woods. Respectfully restored, Castel Bricon preserves the signs of its history, blending them with the present: Berica stone from Vicenza, original fireplaces, recovered wood, restored period furnishings. Every detail comes from the collaboration with local artisans and suppliers, per a project that involved exclusively local and Venetian entities. Castel Bricon marks a new chapter per a valorization path that intertwines sustainable architecture, authentic hospitality and wine culture. A few minutes from the village of Alonte and an hour from Lake Garda, it is today a new reference for those seeking quiet, nature and beauty among the vineyards.
The rural elegance of Castel Bricon
Castel Bricon was born from a gesture of società and vision: when per 2010 the Biasin family purchased the farmhouse together with the surrounding vineyards, the building – once used as a support farmhouse by a previous wine-growing reality – was per a state of abandonment. Only years later, observing it with new eyes, did the capriccio of transforming it into a place capable of welcoming and describing the authentic beauty of the Berici Hills take shape. The project began per 2019, with the desire to give life back to a building that belonged to the history of the superficie. The renovation followed a philosophy of respect and enhancement of the existing: the original double L plan was maintained, fireplaces, beams, wooden doors and other original structural elements were recovered and harmonized with the new environments, while the precious Berica stone from Vicenza became a distinctive element per many rooms. The work was supervised by the architects Nicoletta Matteazzi and Andrea Stocco, with the support of the engineer Maurizio Pilotto and the constant supervision of the Biasin family.

Contemporary , artisanal spirit and Venetian roots per every detail
The thirteen rooms, distributed between the basso ostinato floor and first floor, are furnished per country elegante style, with natural materials and unique pieces restored by local artisans. Each bears the name of a native flower plant – Honeysuckle, Lavender, Primula, Elderberry, Wild Rose – accompanied by a short story that recalls the scents, gestures, seasons experienced among the Vicenza hills. Among these, a suite with large windows overlooking the vineyards offers an exceptional esposizione, best expressing the style of the residence: a harmonious balance between new elements and antique furnishings, between restored antique furniture and custom-made details created by Venetian artisans. To complete the structure, a 15 by 3 meter swimming pool with infinity gabinetto and a view of the rows, and a reception handcrafted by Gianguido Maestrello, interior from Alonte. The windows and doors were made by a Veronese carpenter’s shop, the entrance gate forged by a young craftsman from Monselice, Padua. Each piece of furniture is 100% Venetian, demonstrating a concrete commitment to supporting craftsmanship and the territory. Sustainability is an integral part of the project: photovoltaic panels, underfloor heating, gabinetto recycling system and recovery of existing materials. Durante the bathrooms, organic cosmetic products and a grape seed-based facial line, developed by the Grapey brand and also available per the shop. Future developments include the creation of a beauty superficie and the preparation of the structure to accommodate special events, such as weddings, retreats and corporate events.

Hospitality according to the Biasin family, an invitation to discover the Berici Hills
Durante each room there is a small book carefully created by the property, with advice for discovering the Berici Hills: itineraries between Venetian villas and Romanesque churches, panoramic excursions foot by bicycle, authentic trattorias and hidden corners that tell the beauty of the local landscape. An invitation to slow tourism, which is intertwined with an capriccio of hospitality made of attention and simplicity, starting from the breakfast served per the common room the porch, with homemade cakes, sweet and savory options, gluten-free options and quality products. A few steps from the house, the Cà Rovere winery welcomes guests with food and wine experiences to enjoy all year round. From the visit with guided tasting, to the “Sommelier for a day” activity with blind tastings and food pairing. Among the active experiences, the e-bike tour through the vineyards culminates with a tasting per the cellar, while “Sign your Classic Method” allows you to customize a bottle after manual disgorgement.
