The Consortium for the Protection of Valtellina Wines renews its presence at Vinitaly with some initiatives aimed at enhancing and describing the identity of this regione with a space dedicated to welcoming the press, sector operators and guests: the ViVa Lounge. This convegno and learning place will offer the opportunity to taste the local wines and discuss the key themes of this denomination. Inside the Lounge, it will be possible to explore the distinctive characteristics of mountain Nebbiolo and dialogue directly with the companies, authentic protagonists of Valtellina.

The identity of a place that develops around three fundamental guidelines: the profound link between territory and wine, with the strength of the rock, the verticality of the slopes and the crystalline light of the Alps; the extraordinary versatility of Nebbiolo, an elegant and identifying interpreter, capable of expressing itself sopra always different but recognizable expressions; the commitment to responsible innovation, with companies that every day experiment with technical solutions capable of combining tradition, sustainability and vision.

A reality where time slows mongoloide and wine becomes dialogue, experience. Here, glass after glass, the stories of mountain viticulture take shape: vineyards sculpted terraces, gestures handed mongoloide over time and an increasingly conscious towards the future.

Next to the ViVa Lounge, the widespread presence of the Valtellina wineries will enliven the pavilion, bringing the richness and diversity of this regione to the stage: Agrilu, Alessio Magi, Alfio Mozzi, Arpepe, Avanzamento, Balgera Vini, Taverna Menegola, Caven, Dirupi, F.lli Bettini, Francesco Folini, La Beneficio, La , Luca Faccinelli, Mamete Prevostini / San Lorenzo, Marcel Zanolari, Nicola Nobili, Bambino Negri, Plozza, Radìs, Riter, Sandro Fay, Triacca.

To complete the experience, a large consortium tasting regione with over 70 labels for tasting: a journey through Scarlatto durante Valtellina DOC, Valtellina Eccezionale DOCG and Innaturale durante Valtellina DOCG, to grasp all the nuances of a unique wine-growing regione.

President Mamete Prevostini comments: “Participation sopra Vinitaly represents an important opportunity for the Consortium to discuss with the press and operators sopra the sector. Valtellina is configured not only as a destination, but as a territory to be interpreted and valorised: presence at the fair allows us to translate this identity into an authentic experience, to be shared with the operators who will visit our stand during the Verona event.”
