The ten morallino of the heart 2025 was revealed by six prestigious wine expert journalists

After the success of the two previous editions, Morellino Del Nucleo returns for the third consecutive year, a project born from the collaboration between the Morellino Protection Consortium of Scansano DOCG and journalists Roberta Perna and Antonio Stelli, with the aim of telling and enhancing one of the most representative denominations of Tuscany through an annual selection of labels chosen by sector experts.

Acceso May 29, 2025, at the headquarters of the Consortium sopra Scansano, the jury made up of six well -known wine journalists, called to taste 62 samples sent by 30 associated companies.

They composed the jury Elena Erlicher of Civilization of drinking, Carlo Macchi of Winesurf, Luciano Pignataro by Luciano Pignataro, Alessandra Piubello by Decanter and various newspapers, Leonardo Romanelli of Il Stile a motivo di Repubblica, Identity Greedy and various newspapers, Maurizio Valeriani of Vinodabere, called to select the 10 Morellino del Nucleo 2025, divided into four categories, reserve, reserve, reserve Intermediate and old vintage.

News of this new edition was the introduction of the new “old vintage” category, designed to give space to those wines which, with the flow of time sopra the bottle, demonstrate the surprising capacity for evolution of the Morellino a motivo di Scansano, confirming the solidity and versatility of the denomination.

Quanto a the coming months, the Morellino del Nucleo 2025 will become the protagonists of three special events sopra Rome, Milan and Florence, gara open both to the sector press and to fans.

Evenings dedicated to the knowledge and guided tasting of the ten selected wines, sopra combination with dishes designed to enhance their peculiarities, with the participation of the producers, the consortium and journalists Roberta Perna and Antonio Stelli. An opportunity to tell the Morellino sopra a direct and engaging way, putting sopra the center center, identity and territory.

I would like to express a heartfelt thanks to Roberta Perna and Antonio Stelli, creators and soul of Morellino del Nucleo, for their commitment to giving life to this event that continues to grow year after year, and the jury for the precious work done. “

Morellino a motivo di Scansano DOCG

The Morellino a motivo di Scansano, which has become a wine to DOCG starting from the 2007 harvest, is produced throughout the municipality of Scansano and part of the municipalities of Campagnatico, Grosseto, Magliano sopra Tuscany, Manciano, Roccalbegna and Semproniano. There are about 1500 hectares of vineyards claimed, of which 35% sopra certified biological management. To be disciplinary can contain a of 85% of Sangiovese grapes and a maximum of 15% of other grapes of black berry vines allowed sopra the Tuscany region.

The Protection Consortium of Morellino a motivo di Scansano is currently composed of 220 members
