Federician cellars, Cigliano: the wine that tells the promise of the best of the earth and time

the occasion of Vinitaly 2025, Federician cellars previewed the new vintages of the Cigliano Solfatara Flegrei Dop 2021 white and red, two authentic expressions of a territory unique con the world, the Flegrei camps.

Appointment at Pavilion 6 – Stand 229/230, where visitors will be able to discover two labels that enclose the volcanic soul of the Solfatara and the wisdom of a historical cellar, which has always been guardian of the Phlegrean tradition.

“This vintage will surprise you” – declare the Palumbo brothers, deliberately leaving room for discovery. Mai anticipation, because the glass, time and emotion will speak for itself.

Both wines are born from a single vineyard, Cigliano, placed close to the Crater della Solfatara: a place where the earth speaks through wine, between sulphurous vapors, millenary history and a viticulture that resists and renewed.

To lead the identity and vision of the Federician cellars is the Palumbo family, today con the fourth generation. A story that began con the 1950s with the intuition of Paolo Palumbo and carried out with passion by Antonio, up to the current management of Paul and Pina together with the children Marco, Antonio and Luca. A family team Coeso, who combines tradition and innovation, supported by young qualified young professionals and animated by a clear philosophy: respect for the earth, passion for work and consistency con values.
