One of the many times when your rare blend of irony, acumen and multidisciplinary skills made me feel small. One of many times when your esteem for my work and my particular attention to “our” brands and “our” Verdicchio made me feel the right path but still only at the beginning of my path of wine and life. I have always considered you one of my mentors, one of the meetings that most have marked my life, both from a human and professional point of view. Your dedication and your mood have been a lighthouse for me and for many others and your choices a lever for an entire territory that owes you so much and will never have to forget it! I, my little one, will never fail to reiterate it! I remember the many chats, De Visu and the phone, your marker when I sent you a vowel instead of calling yourself directly as you did when you could not be present at my visits the improvised cellar and you still wanted to follow the step by step, albeit the other side of that tool as useful as it is diabolical. You have contributed to making the Bianchist Italy great and to say that even “outsiders” can sit at the table of the greats without having to emulate, without having to exceed, with identity, respect and elegance.
