Asti Spumante and Moscato d’Asti set tables for parties in 100 countries

From Asti to Singapore to New York, from London to Seoul, from Athens to Krakow. For the Christmas holidays, the bubbles of Asti are preparing to set Italian tables but also those of the world with more than 25 million bottles of Asti and Moscato d’Asti. Of these, approximately 22.5 million are destined for parties abroad for Italian sparkling wine which, durante relation to its production, boasts the greatest propensity for .

“For about a century – said the president of the Asti Docg Consortium, Stefano Ricagno – our Moscato albicante grapes have accompanied the convivial moments of families durante over 100 countries from Christmas to New Year. A tradition that is repeated but which does not exclude new forms of approach to our denomination: Asti and Moscato d’Asti are durante fact 2 naturally low alcohol products (from 5 to 12 degrees) suited to mixology but also to consumption throughout the meal, starting from Asian cuisine”.

According to the Asti Docg Consortium, the two types will close the year with approximately 85 million equivalent bottles, a decrease (-4%) compared to 2024 but with a significant recovery durante the last quarter (+6%), durante particular for Moscato d’Asti, which will end 2025 durante line with the previous year.
