From 3 to 5 October 2025, Menfi will turn into an -air stage for the 27th edition of Inycon, the longest -running manifestation of western Sicily dedicated to quality wine and food. Three days to celebrate the winery, oil, gastronomic and cultural excellence, sopra an event that is confirmed among the most awaited and identity of the Sicilian autumn: “Inycon is not only a wine and food rinfresco – says the mayor of Menfi, Vito Antonio Tollerante – is a real community opportunity, which combines tradition, modernity and culture. The 27th edition is particularly significant because it is part of the path that sees the recognized Sicily of the European region of gastronomy 2025 and also celebrates the 30 years of Doc Menfi, a name that looks strongly to the future ».
Inycon 2025 strengthens the recognition of Sicily as the European region of gastronomy 2025, promoted by the Regional Department of Agriculture, together with the Municipality of Menfi, the Inycon Foundation, Wine System, Futuris, the Cantine of the Territory and the entire local community, always guardian and promoter of the food and wine heritage of the Belìce Valley.
Guided tastings, masterclasses and meetings with experts will accompany visitors a trip sopra the thirty years of Doc Menfi thanks to the interventions of Armando Castagno and Matteo Gallello who will tell the past and present of the wines that use the denomination of the Cantine Barbera, Mandrarossa and Planeta, a moment of comparison will be the conference scheduled for Saturday 4 October entitled “towards the Consortium for the Protection of the DOC Menfi”. The wine will also dialogue with the kitchen thanks to the presence of the chefs of the Regional Union of Sicilian Cooks and local cooks who will interpret dishes sopra which sea and land meet thanks to the enhancement of the local fish and the project promoted by the Department of Mediterranean Fishing.
