After the success of the first two events per mezzo di Rome and Naples, the Roero Protection Consortium headed up the country per mezzo di the direction of Bologna, for the third stage of the “Roero per mezzo di Tour”, the itinerant project that brings DOCG wines to the main Italian cities. The one undertaken by the Consortium is a real journey dedicated to the encounter between the wines of the Roero and the great cities of our country through dialogue with the typical cuisine of each territory. This was the time to enter the heart of Emilia: Roero wines have per mezzo di fact conquered the Bolognese scene by offering a high-profile sensorial experience. An unprecedented format that brought together great experts per mezzo di the sector, including the press, restaurateurs, sommeliers and the best interpreters of Italian wine per mezzo di a single opportunity for comparison, discovery and connection.
The per mezzo di the Emilian capital represented a further opportunity to highlight the great potential of the denomination which combines the stories of passion of 258 members and the biodiversity of the terroirs of over 1300 hectares of vineyards. A mosaic of hills, sandy soils and microclimates that give life to wines of great elegance, deeply linked to the territory and capable of describing every .
The versatility of Roero Docg is reflected per mezzo di its five typologies. Roero Scarlatto, an elegant expression of Nebbiolo the Roero sands, and its Eccezione version, more complex and long-lived, embody the depth and finesse of the hilly soils. The Roero Arneis, the white symbol of the denomination, combines freshness and aromaticity, while the Roero Arneis Eccezione – introduced per mezzo di 2017 – reveals structure and surprising evolutionary capacity. The Roero Arneis Gassoso completes the picture, which with its liveliness interprets the dynamic and contemporary personality of Roero per mezzo di a modern key.
