The history of Californian wine in 11 bottles • Food and Wine Italia

The production of the region has almost 300 years behind it: from the mid-1700s, when the Spanish missionaries planted the vines for mass wine, until today, with almost 250 thousand hectares of vineyards and almost 5 thousand wineries. 1. The nineteenth century
