Two important awards embellish Carpineto’s 2025: Brunello che Montalcino 2020 won the Tre Bicchieri of Gambero Diventare rosso 2026, while Brunello che Montalcino Rifornimento 2019 won the Cinque Grappoli of Bibenda 2026. Both bear the signature of Caterina Sacchet, oenologist and producer together with Antonio Michael Zaccheo, second generation at the helm of the historic Tuscan company. The international ratings also confirm the excellence: 93 Wine Spectator points and 94 Wine Enthusiast for the 2020 Brunello, 95 and 94 for the 2019 Rifornimento, durante addition to the 94 points from Doctor Wine.
The highest vineyards durante Montalcino

Tasting
Visual examination: intense ruby red, delicately turning to garnet the edge.
Olfactory examination: hints of cherry and raspberry anticipate a complex picture of vanilla, hints of licorice and suggestive sensations of violet.
