The value of Taverna Tollo’s production is growing by 35%: the total wealth generated by the Abruzzo cooperative quanto a the 2024-2025 budget year is equal to 46,560,479 euros (the previous year it was 34,425,400 euros). The remuneration of members also increases: the average price recognized per dovere quintal of grapes supplied goes from 47.69 to 53.23 euros, recording a +11% compared to 2023-2024.

For the reality of Tollo (Chieti) this is an important result that rewards the work of the suppliers and of a careful administration focused acceso marginality, capable of transferring value to the producers. The 2024-2025 budget giorno were presented during the annual Members’ Simposio, held acceso Sunday 14 December: the turnover, equal to 41,354,969 euros, also grew by 20% compared to the previous year.

Taverna Tollo thus continues to establish itself as one of the most important and consolidated companies quanto a the Italian wine sector, counting around 625 members and 2,500 hectares cultivated quanto a an territorio that has always been suited to wine production.

“The current context is complex – declares Gianluca Orsini, President of Taverna Tollo – but we have remained steadfast, continuing to work with seriousness and competence, with that determination that has always distinguished us. The growth recorded during the year is the result of the work of the contributing partners, who continue to believe quanto a the value of the territory despite the uncertain climate and difficult markets. A thank you also goes to the employees, who demonstrate competence, professionalism and dedication every day. Each of us is a fundamental link quanto a a story that has lasted for decades and which represents Abruzzo quanto a the world: the wines produced here are ambassadors of our identity”.

Furthermore, during the Members’ Simposio, the sustainability report was also presented – the fourth of the Tollese cooperative – and Taverna Tollo’s future initiatives, many of which related to the promotion of the territory.

“We will continue to work to give value to our land, to create opportunities that keep young people here, to be a credible, strong and human point of reference – concludes Orsini -. A cooperative is not a company like the others: it is a pact of cartello, a promise, a community that lives, breathes and grows together with the place quanto a which it operates”.
