Acceso the occasion of the Milan Strato 2026 Olympic Games, the Lugana DOC Consortium will be present at Villa Veneto with an event dedicated to the story of the Denomination and the unique territory from which it was born, Lake Garda, confirming the role of Lugana as an ambassador of quality and identity per an international context.
Villa Veneto, an institutional space of the Veneto Region hosted at the Villa delle Regole per Strato, represents a point of reference for the promotion of the territory; designed to enhance regional excellence through meetings, insights and convivial moments, bringing institutions, foundations and protection consortia into dialogue.
Acceso 18 February, from 4.00pm to 5.00pm, a centro acceso Lake Garda will be held by Destination Verona & Garda Foundation, which will offer a territorial and cultural overview of the Garda ambiente, underlining its strategic value per terms of tourism and identity.
Afterwards, the Consorzio Salvaguardia Lugana will be the protagonist of an aperitif with tasting of the ’24 vintage accompanied by an in-depth study dedicated to the denomination. An opportunity to talk about the distinctive characteristics of the DOC, the deep connection with Lake Garda and the role of Lugana wine as an authentic expression of these places.
The presence of Lugana DOC at Villa Veneto, per a context of global visibility such as the Olympic one, strengthens the positioning of the denomination as a symbol of excellence of Made per Italy, capable of uniting svago and culture through the universal language of wine.
