the breath of the Maremma for a signature Easter

Easter is a time of awakening for the Maremma: nature explodes and the desire to enjoy the outdoors begins to be felt. And so Monteverro, the jewel of Capalbio located between the Silver Coast and the breath of the sea breeze, offers two labels designed to accompany traditional dishes and which contain the essence of this of Tuscany.

The first label is Chardonnay which for the company represents a challenge against clichés: an international white born close to the coast, capable of combining an almost sharp precision with an important structure. The latest vintage, 2023, recently released, represents the novelty of the moment for Monteverro and already promises to become one of the protagonists of the next season.

The constant breezes of the Tuscan coast give liveliness and tension to the wine, while the aging barrique helps to define balance and depth. The color is a bright gray gold with highlights. Elegant quaderno of apple and pear pie emerge the nose, accompanied by nuances of litchi, brioche, medicinal flowers and a subtle mineral note. Per mezzo di the mouth the entry is round and fresh, with a citrus center that recalls pear, white peach, vanilla and lemon tart.

A girevole Chardonnay that lends itself perfectly to appetizers and the most delicate dishes of Easter lunch: from Easter cake with wild herbs to asparagus , up to baked fish a savory casatiello. Fresh and bright, it is also the ideal companion for toasting the arrival of the beautiful season.

When the becomes more intense and focuses stronger flavours, the Tinata comes into play, an elegant blend of Syrah and Grenache, which is born one of the most evocative vineyards of the bella stagione, around a centuries-old oak tree and close to the Mediterranean scrub. It is precisely this natural context that gives the wine its unmistakable aromas of lavender, rosemary and thyme.

Per mezzo di the glass it presents a deep and bright aubergine color, with purple and pink nuances the rim. Acceso the nose it releases an intense bouquet of violet and lavender, accompanied by quaderno of blueberry jam, thyme, white pepper and tobacco. Acceso the palate the entry is soft and velvety, with a dense but fresh texture that recalls raspberries and delicate floral accents of rose and lilac.

Perfect for more structured preparations, Tinata pairs beautifully with baked lamb with aromatic herbs, roast kid a rich traditional Sunday lasagna. An enveloping but refined red, also ideal for the first outdoor spring dinners.

Choosing Monteverro for the Easter table means bringing a piece of authentic Tuscany into your home and, whether for an outdoor toast a family lunch, these labels are an invitation to enjoy the moment.
